- Description
Active Ingredient(s) Each 100g contents：Valnemulin 10gm as Valnemulin Hydrochloride
Indications A pleuromutilin antibiotic used to treat and prevent of Dysentery & Mycoplasma problem of swine.
Dosage & Administration Swine—
Swine Dysentery (SD) & Porcine Colonic Spirochaetosis (PCS),
Prevention：250g（ 1-1.5mg valnemulin /kg B.W）per day, for 4weeks of continues use;
Treatment：750g（3-4 mg valnemulin /kg B.W）per day, for 7days of continues use
Porcine Proliferative Enteropathy (PPE, ileitis)
Prevention:375g（1.5~2.25mg valnemulin /kg B.W）per day, for 2weeks of continues use;
Treatment:750g(3-4 mg valnemulin /kg B.W）per day, for 2weeks of continues use
Enzootic Pneumonia (EP, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae)
Prevention/ Treatment:2kg（10~12mg valnemulin /kg B.W）per day, for 3weeks of continues use
The fixed inclusion levels of RICONEN are effective in the prevention and treatment of clinical disease. Higher dosages or longer duration of treatment may be necessary for complete elimination of infection. The medicated feed should be fed as the sole ration daily for a minimum of 7 days and up to 4 weeks or until signs of disease disappear.
Withdrawal periods:2days.
Caution(s)/ Warning(s) -Pigs should not receive products containing ionophores like salinomycin, monensin and narasin, during or at least 5 days before or after treatment with valnemulin.
-Valnemulin should not be administered to rabbits.
-Direct contact with the skin and mucous membranes should be avoided during handling.
-Not for human use. Keep out of the reach of children.
Storage & Shelf life at controlled room temperature 20° to 25° C (68° to 77°F) , 2 years.
