Active Ingredient: Flunixin Meglumine 100g:5g
Swine: is recommended for the relief of pyrexia, anorexia, pain and endotoxin induced subclinical symptoms. It’s also indicated for the control of mastitis, hysteritis and agalactosis after delivery of sows.
Horse: is recommended for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders in the horse.
Dosage and administration:
Swine: The recommended dose of flunixin meglumine is 100g per 100-200kg feed or 100g per 200-400kg drinking water. Treat once or twice a day for 5-7 days continuously depending on different cases. Dose may be higher at first treatment or running into a severe case.
Horse: The recommended dose of flunixin is 0.5 mg per pound of body weight daily. The granules are easily administered by sprinkling on a small amount of feed. Treatment may be given initially by intravenous or intramuscular injection of flunixin meglumine solution, followed by flunixin meglumine granule on days 2 to 5. Flunixin meglumine should not exceed 5 consecutive days.
